Year 5 and 6 Healthy Eating Challenge Day

Yesterday pupils from Years 5 and 6 attended a Healthy Eating event where they were challenged to design a new healthy snack. They had to work together in groups and present their ideas to the experts in the style of Dragon's Den. They also had the opportunity to work alongside professionals from a healthy eating snack company. Our children were complemented throughout the day on their behaviour, manners and excellent creative ideas. The children had a thoroughly enjoyable day and were excited to win not only the trophy for the best Healthy Snack but also the People's Choice award voted for by the other children! The winning team are having a mock-up of their snack made. The trophy is currently being engraved but once it is in school we will blog a photograph of it for all to see! Well done to all the children that took part in the event!
