Bulb Planting

Year 1 have had a brilliant time planting bulbs today. Digging is tiring so we had to work hard! We cant wait to see new daffodils and tulips grow in the Spring.

Royal wedding celebrations part 2 (F2)

The children took turns to be Meghan and Harry. They enjoyed the outdoor picnic.

Royal Wedding Celebrations in Foundation 2

Today we have joined the celebrations for the Royal wedding tomorrow. We have designed crowns and wedding cakes, made flags and buns. We shall now enjoy triangle sandwiches at our sunshine picnic after practising our bows and curtsies. 

Forest Fun in F2 Tigers

On Tuesday we spent a whole morning exploring our forest. We ate honey sandwiches, planted seeds and made nature bracelets. 

We collected blossom from the playground to make a picture. Foundation Two really enjoy learning in our outdoor classroom. 

5Red @ Malham Tarn

5Red had a fantastic residential at Malham Tarn last week. We got up to lots of things including; den building, fire lighting, orienteeing with compasses and pond dipping! We even had a snowball fight! A big well done to all the children for their fantastic attitudes and perservering through the arctic conditions to complete our activities!

Competition in F2

It's lovely to see healthy competition amongst children when it comes to learning but in Foundation 2 we have parents being competitive too!!
Here are Bobby Kitchen and Freddie Bratton daddy's eager for their boys to read their tricky words.

5 Blue have arrived safely at Malham Tarn, built dens, had tea and about to go on a night walk. The snow is quite deep so enjoying playing in it!

Year 5 Red

This afternoon Year 5 have learnt how to stay safe online and created some fantastic posters to share their knowledge with everyone in school.
