What's the heaviest object in the classroom?
This week we are learning about weight. We are using the balance scales to find the heaviest weight, heaviest object in the classroom and to even bake buns.

Y6: Taking our time...
We've been working collaboratively today to solve time problems...particularly where timetables that don't look like timetables are concerned!! Hopefully, this system will allow us all to evaluate the methods and ideas that different people use, then selecting the best one for us!
We've got the Bug!
Year 1 Red in our ICT lesson are using Bug Club to read books on-line, answer questions on what they have read and widen their ICT skills.

OK Computer

Invasion!
Year five were invaded as a start to their Viking Learning Challenge work. It was strange coming into a messy classroom and we were very cross at having to tidy up!!
Viking coins in 5 Red
We used clay o make Viking coins. After studying images, we designed and created our own. We think they look great!
Gawain and the green knight
We have had an amazing drama day.
We have acted out and been part of the story of Gawain.
Tomorrow, we will be writing our own sections to the story and acting some out on Thursday.

5 Red Music
We have used a motif to play a piece of programme music to tell a Viking story. This has involved working as a group thinking about different elements, such as: tempo, pitch, dynamics and texture.
