We have had a fabulous day at our Ugly Bug Ball in F2. We came dressed as our favourite mini beasts, we have drawn them, learnt a bug dance and gone on a bug hunt. We found lots of snails, small slugs, fat slugs, long worms and short worms!
1 Blue have been busy researching information about ladybirds. They are preparing to write an information text about ladybirds and looked in books, at photos and diagrams to find some interesting facts. Well done everyone.
Foundation 2 are experimenting with different ways to move and control our bodies. We like to dance to the music and are beginning to work as a team and help our friends when balancing.
We are busy sorting animals in F1. The children have sorted the animals into lots of different groups by themselves, telling us why they have sorted them. They sorted into: farm animals, zoo animals, animals with wings, striped or spotted animals, insects and frogs!
The classes in Phase 2 and breakfast club now have weekly access to the First News newspaper which staff will share and for reading in free times, and in green time - as shown here in Y6. The children are enjoying sharing the facts they are discovering.
