World Book Day in Foundation 2

To celebrate Wold Book Day we enjoyed drawing and painting our favourite characters, read stories that the children had brought in from home and went on a character hunt in 'The Woods'.

F1 World Book Day




We celebrated World Book Day in Nursery by dressing as a book character and sharing our favourite stories with some hot chocolate. 

Leeds Rhinos Session - Y6


Because WBD isn't enough fun for a Thursday,we are also having rugby sessions with Leeds Rhinos today! 









Young writers award in year 1


Congratulations to a pupil in year 1 who has won a creative writing competition! 
He will now be a real published author! What a superstar! Well done :-) 

World Book Day - the Y6 parade!

We are celebrating World Book Day today, and lots of our Y6 have got suitably into the spirit! We have appearances from characters including Dorothy, Wally, Wanda, Minnie Mouse, Bratz, Tom Gates, one of the 101 Dalmatians, Princess Leia and Hermione! 
















Cookery in 1 Blue

1 Blue had a great time making stir fry today. They learnt how to chop vegetables safely, using the 'claw' grip and really enjoyed eating it at the end! Well done everyone!

Visiting the Hindu Temple

What an amazing morning for year 4. Today we visited the Hindu Temple in Headingley. The children learned more about the Hindu religion and witnessed inside a real temple. It was a fabulous morning.

It's all a bit dramatic in Y6...


One Day Creative drama are working with y6 for two days this week to create a performance of 'Macbeth'. The children are really enjoying working with Shakespeare's famous play, so we are excited to see their creative productions!
