Chasing rainbows in Y6


We have been learning about light refraction, dispersal and how rainbows are formed.  We then proved that white light is made of 7 colours by creating spinners and seeing how the colours merged together to appear white.

Could the Vikings have travelled to Leeds???? Yes!!!

We investigated the Rivers of England to see if the Vikings could have travelled to Leeds in their Longships. They could!! But they didn't!!

Puppet theatre in y6

Year 5 and 6 become triathletes!

Children from Years 5 and 6 completed their first triathlon- swimming 30 metres, cycling 1000 metres and then running 400 metres. They got to meet the Brownlee brothers at the end.
