Year 3 Red have been designing Volcanos in IT and art. Here are some examples of our work.

Chasing rainbows in Y6

We have been learning about light refraction, dispersal and how rainbows are formed.  We then proved that white light is made of 7 colours by creating spinners and seeing how the colours merged together to appear white. 

Problem solving in 1 Blue

We have been busy working out ways to remember our number bonds. After lots of discussion and good team work, we found some patterns to help us! 

We felt very proud of ourselves :-) 

Making 10!

1 blue have been busy learning their number bonds to 10. They enjoyed using lots of different equipment. 

Could the Vikings have travelled to Leeds???? Yes!!!

We investigated the Rivers of England to see if the Vikings could have travelled to Leeds in their Longships. They could!! But they didn't!! 

Puppet theatre in y6

As part of our 'light' theme, we investigated changing the size of shadows through creating shadow puppets and small plays. Watch out...he's behind you! 

Year 5 and 6 become triathletes!

Children from Years 5 and 6 completed their first triathlon- swimming 30 metres, cycling 1000 metres and then running 400 metres. They got to meet the Brownlee brothers at the end. 

Where is it??

In 5 blue we were challenging ourselves to find cities, rivers and landmarks on a map.

Trust launch Tuesday 9th September

We are so proud of our street dancing and drama students who performed at the Civic Hall for the trust launch event on Tuesday evening.
