East Barnby Day 1

Year 4 arrived safely after a long journey. We have had a fantastic afternoon. Some groups have been in the forest den building whilst other groups have been getting wet and having fun in the beck.

F1 has been over-run with Gingerbread People this week!

The children have enjoyed reselling the story using puppets. They have squeezed the icing and counted the buttons to decorate their gingerbread biscuits and made playdough gingerbread people with all the characters in the story too!

World book day 4B

Nature Play in Foundation

We learnt how to hold sticks carefully and took them for a walk. We used them to build shelters.

We measured sticks and put them in size order and had to look carefully in the bushes for hidden objects and words.

year 1 world book day

year 1 really enjoyed dressing up for world book day. We read lots of stories and did lots of activities including writing our own stories and making book marks. We even had hot chocolate when reading our last story! What a fantastic day!
