Room on the Broom

We had a visit from the witch from Room on the Broom. We had lots of questions for her...
How did you get away from the dragon?
How did your broom snap?
How did you get a new broom?
Who broke your broom?
Why did your family fall into the grass?
Where are the dog and the cat?
Which was your favourite animal?

Flashmob music!

After working with Mr Alex all half term Y6 invited Y3 to come to the red room and watch a performance of Beethoven's 'Ode To Joy'... Little were Y3 expecting the Flashmob experience which followed!

Get stuck in!

After creating sketchbooks and improving observational drawing skills last half term, 6Blue,were today enjoying 'getting their hands dirty' beginning to mask make, and get creative using papier mâché!  Keep your eyes peeled for the finished product!

Y6 Diwali

To mark the Hindu festival of Diwali next week, Y6 completed Rangoli patterns. The class worked by fairy light, to remind ourselves that Diwali is the 'Festival of Lights' when light/good beat
dark/evil.
