Invasion!

Year five were invaded as a start to their Viking Learning Challenge work. It was strange coming into a messy classroom and we were very cross at having to tidy up!!

Viking coins in 5 Red

We used clay o make Viking coins. After studying images, we designed and created our own. We think they look great!

Gawain and the green knight

We have had an amazing drama day.
We have acted out and been part of the story of Gawain.
Tomorrow, we will be writing our own sections to the story and acting some out on Thursday.
What a brilliant way to start a half term!

The adventure begins..

Year 3 are learning how to give instructions to a computer to solve logic problems. We're gearing up for the new IT Curriculum.

Y6: charts and data....

How do charts tell you what they tell you?
We're investigating the different ways that charts represent data and make it easy for us to understand them.

We looked at some examples from the internet...search 'cool infographics' for some examples.

5 Red Music

We have used a motif to play a piece of programme music to tell a Viking story. This has involved working as a group thinking about different elements, such as: tempo, pitch, dynamics and texture.
