Problem solving in Year 4

In maths this morning we were working in pairs using the Numicon to see if we could make a Magic Square. In a Magic Square the sum of every row, column and diagonal is the same. We needed to persevere and use our best problem solving skills!

Year 4 spent the afternoon being taught by a Victorian teacher.

It was a bit different being taught by a Victorian teacher, for a start they were incredibly strict! Some of us even had to stand in the corner with the dunce hat on because we had not done our work well enough!
